We try to make the payment process (registration and linking the card) as clear and short as possible. If it does fail, we need more information to figure out what went wrong:
tell us the email that you specified when registering your personal account;
describe the procedure that you performed when linking the card;
let us know what error you got (if possible, send a screenshot of the error screen).
Check again if the following is correct:
card number (on the card data entry screen, number from 16 to 19 digits, written on the front side of the card);
name and surname of the cardholder (as indicated on the front side of the card, in Latin letters);
card validity period in MMYY format (for example, 02/21);
CVC / CVV code (field on the back of the card);
the email address specified during registration of your personal account (if a different email address is specified or is specified incorrectly, the card will not be linked).
Use a different payment method
If you have a card from another bank, try linking it.
Perhaps there is a problem with your bank or your type of card, then you will need to contact the bank to find out the reason.
Please check if the app is updated in AppStore or Google Play (requires iOS 8+ or Android 5+). The new version of the application allows you to register a personal account and save your card data for future donations.
Unfortunately, it will not be possible to immediately update the figure: the amount consists of card donations, bank transfers, electronic wallets, SMS transfers, etc. Information is updated every evening, except weekends: all receipts for each child per day are summed up and the amounts of fees are updated. More complete information about where your money went can be obtained on the Rusfond website in the "Donation Report" section https://www.rusfond.ru/reports – in particular, in the subsection “Where did your money go”. https://www.rusfond.ru/report
Try refreshing the list of children: there is a Refresh button in the Settings menu. This action allows you to instantly update all the data in the application. In the appendix, in the “Who to help” tab, children’s letters are published, identical to those that are on the site under the heading “Please help!”. https://rusfond.ru/letters Regional requests for assistance are structured here. https://rusfond.ru/regions
In Viber, you receive a link to a letter that is in hidden mode on the site - this letter is only available via a direct link and is not available in the application. This is how we determine the response of Viber users to mailing lists.
Most likely, due to the fact that your card does not support 3D Secure or it does not have a CVV code, a donation on the card will not work (banned by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation), so you can use PayPal as an alternative. The app has a PayPal button on the How To Help page.
Here is an explanation from the content provider "SMS-online" - a company that services SMS donations:
“Unfortunately, we cannot cancel the confirmation SMS (otherwise the mobile operator will not control debits from customers' accounts, this is a strict rule necessary for the safety of the subscribers themselves). SMS sessions last about 10 minutes. If the subscriber does not confirm the debiting with a response SMS, the operator does not debit anything, but will send the message again next month. This is the rule of all mobile operators, we cannot influence it.”
Don't despair: if you didn't have time to confirm the monthly charge, you can send an SMS to 5542 at any time, regardless of your subscription, with the donation amount.
